Gabrielle V. Taylor presently serves as Managing Partner for Taylor Strategy Partners LLC, a strategic management consultancy focused in revenue and operational optimization.  Additionally, Ms. Taylor serves as Managing Partner for Morgan Brook Capital, a family office focused on investments in real estate, space, biotech and natural resources.  Both firms are based in Littleton, Colorado. 

Her most recent engagement with Taylor Strategy Partners LLC was with a generation and transmission energy provider which serves forty-four utilities throughout Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Nebraska.  Ms. Taylor oversaw the tracking systems for generation study finances on a project-basis and assisted in the development of highly effective business tools in order to optimize the interconnection project review process for the company. 

Before relocating to Colorado, Ms. Taylor was a Management Consultant with Kuczmarski & Associates (K&A) in Chicago, Illinois. She specialized in developing new products, services and marketing strategies to help clients achieve financial growth and sustainable competitive advantages in their respective markets by leveraging their core competencies. 

Ms. Taylor’s last client engagement at K&A involved launching and managing The Chicago Innovation Awards sponsored by The Chicago Sun Times and K&A.   During this six-month effort, she directed all aspects of the awards process, including the review of over one hundred and fifty new product and service submissions from a variety of industries and research areas such as biotechnology, banking, consumer products, material sciences, nanotechnology and information systems.  Ms. Taylor oversaw the screening process, personally reviewed all of the submissions, and conducted interviews for all of the non-consumer submissions.  The Chicago Innovation Awards was an enormous success in the Chicago Metro Market and was subsequently sold to the Wrigley Company of Chicago.

In addition to managing the Innovation Awards, Ms. Taylor worked on a team to devise a market entry strategy, product platform and launch plan for a medical and nutritional products company to establish a $100 million business.  Ms. Taylor’s work included being responsible for assessing over 1,000 pages of scientific and clinical data available to utilize in new product development and working directly with the lead scientist on the final analysis. 

In the business-to-business environment, Ms. Taylor was involved with the development and shaping of a comprehensive energy program for an electric utility.  The program was designed to deliver additional products and services to make operational and business enhancements possible as the result of improved power supply for their large industrial customer base. 

Ms. Taylor also worked on a project to help a multi-billion dollar personal care corporation develop a new product development process within their corporation and create a formidable presence in a targeted category. Ms. Taylor’s primary mission was to direct the commercialization cost development and financial assessment of concepts prior to final recommendations.  This engagement enabled the client to fill its product pipeline with products designed to improve revenues and profits. 

Before joining Kuczmarski & Associates, Ms. Taylor worked for the Morton Salt Company for over nine years, spending seven of those years in marketing management and two years in logistics.  For her outstanding work at Morton, Ms. Taylor was awarded the YWCA Outstanding Business Achievement Award, was inducted into the Salt Crystal Society and featured in the 1994 Annual Report for Morton International Inc.

The majority of Ms. Taylor’s volunteer activities have been dedicated to educational organizations.  She currently volunteers in various programs at Colorado Academy, most often in the Arts Around program to support fine arts education.  Previous roles include serving as Board Chair for three years and Advancement Committee Chair for three years on the Board of Trustees for Aspen Academy located in Greenwood Village, Colorado and serving a three-year term as Secretary and later as President on the Governing Board for St. Philip’s Early Learning Center in Littleton, Colorado.  Over several years, Ms. Taylor has contributed time as a guest lecturer at the University of Notre Dame for a Spanish in Business program, a volunteer classroom instructor with the Junior Achievement business education program in Colorado and a speaker for the Youth Motivation Program in Chicago reaching out to at-risk youth.  Other community service activities include support to organizations that serve the elderly and the ill in the form of meal support and holiday gift deliveries.  Ms. Taylor successfully completed the Leadership Jefferson County program sponsored by the West Chamber in 2009.  And, in 2008, she volunteered as a messaging specialist for communications to support two community improvement initiatives in Ken-Caryl Valley, Littleton, Colorado. Record support of 73% and 63% was achieved on both initiatives.   

Ms. Taylor holds an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago and a BA in economics from the School of Liberal Arts at University of Illinois.

Ms. Taylor is married and currently resides with her husband and two daughters in Columbine Valley, Colorado.
